We are getting closer, Valentine’s Day is almost here! If you are in a relationship or not, if you’ve been together since a long time or since only for a few weeks, this tip is for you.
Tip #12: Make plans for the future but live in the present
One of the beautiful things in a relationship is to make plans for the future. And if you are in a passionate, beautiful relationship, you will also make yourself courage to make plans for longer term, for higher objectives.
If you are scared of making plans for the future, then look inside of you because there might be something that limits you from this: a limiting belief or the fear of not being enough, the fear of not raising to the expectations of the other.
If you are not afraid of making plans for the future, that’s beautiful! All you need is to keep up the promises you make and reach those objectives that you decide with your partner. And pay attention that focusing only on the future sometimes we tend to forget about the present: enjoying this moment fully, enjoying the beautiful moments but also the stressful moments that could help your relationship grow.
If you get in this infinite loop of planning and planning again to get a perfect moment, even if you could enjoy now this special moment you will end up in saying: “let’s plan for this” or “let’s do it tomorrow or next week”. There is no better moment than NOW! And nobody said it should be perfect! It’s the present that you just spend with your partner and don’t wait until tomorrow.
So, what could you enjoy in this moment?
Is it getting out of the house and taking your partner with you to enjoy a walk?
Or is it just doing something that you have not done since a very long time and you’ve been planning? Just do it! 🙂
