Two years ago I bought a book while I was in Australia. Yesterday I found it in a box. It’s called “It’s never too late” and I want to share some words from it.
From the book “It’s never too late…” Patrick Lindsay
It’s never too late…TO START AGAIN.
Look at nature. Nothing stays the same. Why should you? Use change wisely. Like a sporting champion, change a losing game. Keep the things that matter and lose the things that don’t. Set some goals. Start afresh.
It’s never too late…TO MAKE A FRIEND.
Your mother was right…if you can count your true friends on one hand, you’re a lucky person.
Some of our best memories come from our friends. The real joy of friendship is when you give. To make a friend, give your friendship. They will reciprocate. Treasure your friends.
It’s never too late…TO CHANGE YOUR MIND.
Take a view. Make a point. Make a decision. But always keep your mind open. Stay flexible. Consider the possibility that you’re wrong. That there’s a better way.
It’s never too late…TO DANCE.
It’s a celebration of life. Of freedom. Of joy. Express your feelings. Dance for your partner. Dance for yourself. Release yourself. Savour the moment.
It’s never too late…TO BE ON TIME.
It’s a compliment to others. A chance to observe. To eliminate pressure. To calm down. To organise. To improve your chances of success.
It’s never too late… TO CHANGE PLANS.
John Lennon was right…Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans. Plans are guidelines, not regulations. If they don’t fit the circumstaces, change them. The greatest skill isn’t planning ahead. It’s being able to adapt to life’s unexpected obstacles. And still look ahead with a smile.
It’s never too late… TO SAY SORRY.
It takes courage but it’s worth the effort. It releases you. It enriches the other person. It ennobles you. It gives you both a new beginning.
It’s never too late… TO LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITIES.
It sounds so obvius. But often, through pressure or haste or boredom, we get so fixated on our aim we miss opportunities on the way.
Expand your vision. Open your mind. Look for your chance.
