Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you are enjoying this day and remember to surprise your loved one with anything that they make them happy. It does not need to be big, sometimes the small things make the difference! Smile, laugh, hug, send a nice sms, take a photo, hold their hand etc or just do something you don’t usually do, but your partner would love it! Love is above anything! If you are single or in a relationship, enjoy today and think about the future!
Tip #14: Reach for help when you need it!
I read once that being in a relationship does not mean that everything has to be smooth and easy. It takes effort, suffering, investing time and energy in order to reach that place of fulfillment and happiness.
If you do this with your body and your work, why should you not do it with your relationship? In order to have a great body you need to eat healthy, train and go to the gym, make effort and invest time. Otherwise it’s going to be difficult that you have a body that’s worth envying. The same with a relationship.
If you are single: invest time and energy in finding the right person for you, keep yourself opened and allow others to come into your life. Invest in you to be the right person for the one that you are searching for (be the right partner first). Then be passionate and optimistic about finding your love. It’s somewhere out there, waiting for you to notice!
If you are in a relationship: invest time and energy to keep or bring that connection to a level of passion, enthusiasm, deep understanding and unconditional love! Invest in your love, give even more than you receive for the sake of your connection. Learn to know the other more than anyone else, learn to show the other that he/she is the most important person for you.
And if you need help in any of the steps in creating the relationship you are dreaming for, ask for that help! Talk to a true friend that understands you, read articles, take courses, read books, talk to a specialist, talk to a stranger in the train or talk to a coach! Any of these can help you with the small steps you need to make to reach that something you desire! Just invest time and energy!
So, it’s Valentine’s Day! If you are in a relationship or not, make yourself the gift of committing in making that small step! What can you do now?
